Faith Lutheran girls golf finishes ninth in Arizona tourney

Julia Becker shot a final-round 3-over-par 75 on Saturday to help Faith Lutheran's girls golf team finish ninth of 18 teams in the Antigua National High School Invitational in Scottsdale, Ariz.

The Crusaders shot 339 as a team Saturday to finish with a two-round total of 697, 15 strokes behind eighth-place Corona Del Sol (Ariz.). Xavier College Prep (Ariz.) won the event with a score of 597.

Becker, who had a two-round total of 154, finished 10th individually. Xavier's Emily Mahar was the individual champion with a score of 142.

Faith Lutheran's Bri Yee added an 81 on Saturday and finished with a total of 168, one stroke better than teammate Sarah Paravia.
