GIRLS GOLF: Rose Baral shoots par, leads Bishop Gorman over Palo Verde

Rose Baral shot par 34 at Bear’s Best on Monday to lead Bishop Gorman to a 153-162 victory over Palo Verde in a nine-hole match.

Gorman’s Hunter Pate added a 36, and Danielle Oberlander shot 39 for the Gaels.

Annick Haczkiewicz shot 37 to lead Palo Verde. Jasine Jung added a 39 for the Panthers.

Cougars roll past Boulder City

At Boulder Creek, Coronado had seven girls shoot in the 30s as the Cougars rolled to a 144-195 victory over Boulder City in a nine-hole match.

Victoria Estrada and Gabby Denunzio each shot 2-under-par 34 for the Cougars. Crystle Querol added a 35, and Ashley Lung and Kyle Keyer each shot 38 for Coronado.

Boulder City’s Lani Potter was fourth individually with a 37.

Pahrump wins Sunset match

At Las Vegas Golf Club, Krista Toomer shot 23-over 95 to help Pahrump Valley win a Sunset League match with a team score of 420.

Mojave was the only other complete team, and finished at 556.

Western’s Carolyn Lemon shot 10-over 82 to earn medalist honors.
