GOLF: Khumnark leads Gators to Northeast win

Mercedes Khumnark fired a 2-over-par 72 at Los Prados on Thursday to help Green Valley’s girls golf team win a Northeast League match.

The Gators had a team score of 353. Silverado was second at 415, and Rancho took third at 433.

Green Valley’s Sara DeMarco added an 85, and teammate Haley Merrill shot 89.

Rancho’s Aubrianna Jordan carded a 90.

Coronado takes top four spots, wins Southeast match

At Black Mountain, Natalie Yamamoto carded a 6-over 78 to lead Coronado to victory in a Southeast League match.

The Cougars had a team score of 318. Foothill was second with 371, followed by Basic (472) and Liberty (484).

Coronado’s Isabella Martinez, Olivia Greenwald and Ciara Clark each shot 80.

Foothill’s Amy Ruelas shot 82.

Syler, Eagles win Sunrise League match

At Stallion Mountain, Jordyn Syler shot 10-over 82 to help Boulder City’s girls golf team win a Sunrise League match.

The Eagles had a team score of 420. Tech took second at 442, followed by Moapa Valley at 455.

Moapa Valley’s Haley Nielson shot 87. The Pirates’ Josie Delgadillo and Mountain View’s Rachel Horita each shot 97.

Crusaders win Sunset match

At Aliante, Julia Becker shot 5-over 77, and teammate Sarah Paravia carded a 78 to lead Faith Lutheran to victory in a Sunset League match.

Bri Yee added an 82 for the Crusaders, who shot 338 as a team. Clark (370) was second, followed by Pahrump Valley (464) and Mojave (534).

Clark's Sabrino Ho was fourth individually at 84, and teammate Cassandro Ho shot 87 to place fifth.
