GOLF: Roadrunners edge Boulder City in I-A Sunrise match

Meghan Chase carded a 29-over-par 100 at Las Vegas National on Wednesday to lead Tech’s girls golf team to victory in a Division I-A Sunrise League match.

Tech’s team score of 442 was three strokes better than Boulder City. Moapa Valley took third at 474.

Boulder City’s Jordyn Syler was the medalist with an 86. Mountain View’s Rachel Horita was second at 88, and Moapa Valley’s Josie Delgadillo carded a 95 to finish third.

Coronado tops Palo Verde

At Badlands, Natalie Yamamoto shot 4-over 40 to help Coronado to a 170-199 win over Palo Verde.

Isabella Martinez added a 42, and Olivia Greenwald and Ashley Lung each shot 44 for the Cougars.

Morgan Zimmerman paced Palo Verde with a 47.
