ROUNDUP: Candley shares top spot as Pioneers claim Northeast meet

Canyon Springs’ Taylor Candley shared medalist honors with a 16-over-par 87 on Wednesday at Desert Rose to lead the Pioneers’ girls golf team to a win in a Northeast League meet.
The Pioneers had a team score of 447. Chaparral, the only other school to post a team score, shot 500.
Eldorado’s Angie Pitaksarp also carded an 87.

Arbor View tops Gorman, Faith Lutheran
At Bear’s Best, Alyssa Ballew shot a 7-over-par 78 to lead Arbor View to victory in a three-team meet.

The Aggies had a team score of 338. Bishop Gorman was second at 346, two strokes better than Faith Lutheran.
Faith Lutheran’s Annie Freman was the medalist with a 77. Briana Becker added a 79 for the Crusaders.
Gorman’s Allie Arguello paced the Gaels with an 85.
