ROUNDUP: Centennial girls edge Gorman in Southwest match

Centennial’s girls golf team survived a triple bogey on the final hole of the match to edge Bishop Gorman 356-357 in a Southwest League match Monday at Paiute.

Desert Oasis finished with 375 and Bonanza shot 465.

Centennial’s Larissa Munoz and Cimarron-Memorial’s Aspen Bryant each shot 6-over-par 78 to share medalist honors.

Melissa Cayne carded an 80, and Katie DeJesus shot 84 to lead Gorman.

Allison Weiderman fired an 82 for Desert Oasis.

Aggies win Northwest match
At Silverstone, four Arbor View players placed in the top five and the Aggies (356) won a Northwest League match by 21 strokes.

Palo Verde placed second with a 377, followed by Shadow Ridge (405) and Sierra Vista (478).

Palo Verde’s Amanda Ryu shot 5-over 77 to take medalist honors.

Arbor View’s Kiley Ballew was second at 83, and Ashley Money, Shaylee Hollan and Betsy Branton each shot 91 for the Aggies.

Branton’s round included a 130-yard hole-in-one.

Kaui, Gators beat Eagles
At Legacy, Alex Kaui shot 3-under 33 to lead Green Valley to a 175-237 victory over Boulder City in a nine-hole match.

Mercedes Khumnark and Sarah Thomas each shot 40 for Green Valley.

Jordyn Syler led Boulder City with a 44.
