ROUNDUP: Chyz, Bulldogs top Palo Verde girls

Charise Chyz carded a 7-over-par 43 at Paiute on Tuesday to help Centennial’s girls golf team defeat Palo Verde, 188-192.

Cimarron-Memorial’s Arianna Bryant was the medalist with a 38, and Aspen Bryant added a 41 for the Spartans, who did not have enough golfers to post a team score.

Palo Verde’s Amanda Ryu shot 41.

Syler earns medalist honors
At Boulder City Municipal, Jordyn Syler took medalist honors with a 6-over 42, but the Eagles didn’t field a full team and lost to Desert Oasis.

Allison Weiderman shot 43, and Jasmine Moore added a 44 for Desert Oasis, which had a team score of 184.
