Roundup: Eileena Tan wins Northeast League match

Valley’s Eileena Tan carded a 34-over-par 104 to earn medalist honors in a Northeast League girls golf match at Los Prados on Wednesday afternoon.

Maylee Tan shot a 120 to finish second for the Vikings, and Las Vegas High teammates Delina Amezquita (124) and Melina Fabian (130) placed third and fourth. Valley’s Habibo Muhina rounded out the top five with a 132.

Canyon Springs, which finished with 550 points, was the only school with a full team. Kenya Edwards (136) tied for sixth and was the Pioneers’ top golfer.

Bishop Gorman tops Pahrump

At Mountain Falls, Hunter Pate fired a 2-over par 74 to earn medalist honors and lead Bishop Gorman to a 328-387 win over Pahrump Valley.

Sloan Pyatt carded an 82 for the Gaels, followed by teammate Angelina Kilton’s 84.

Breanne Nygaard also shot 84, and was followed by teammate Makalea Petrie at 87 for the Trojans.

Centennial beats Clark in nine-hole match

At Angel Park, Centennial’s McKenzi Hall shot par 35 to earn medalist honors and lead the Bulldogs to a 151-178 win over Clark.

Clark’s Riana Mission took second at 36.

Centennial teammates Hailey Stevenson and Jade Magana each shot 38.
