ROUNDUP: Freman, Crusaders cruise to Sunset victory

Annie Freman shot a 5-under-par 65 at Angel Park on Thursday to lead Faith Lutheran to victory in a Division I-A Sunset League match.

Julia Becker shot 71, Brianna Becker 72, and Sarah Paravia 77 for the Crusaders, who totaled 285 as a team.

Clark’s Grace Kang was fifth at 79, and the Chargers placed second as a team with a 382.
Pahrump Valley was third at 435.

Eagles win Sunrise match
At Boulder City Municipal, Jordyn Syler carded a 17-over 89 to lead Boulder City to victory in a Division I-A Sunrise League match.

The Eagles had a team score of 443. Tech at 454 and Sunrise Mountain at 556 were the only other teams to post a score.

Virgin Valley’s Randi Lewis was the medalist with an 84. Tech’s Meghan Chase shot 95.

Centennial tops Panthers
At Badlands, Larissa Munoz and Charise Chyz each carded a 6-over 42 to help Centennial to a 180-185 win over Palo Verde.

Palo Verde’s Amanda Ryu was the medalist with a 40, and teammate Julia Pilarski shot 41.

Aggies edge Gorman
At Bear’s Best, Kiley Ballew and Ashley Money each shot a 2-over-par 38 to help Arbor View to a 177-181 win over Bishop Gorman.

Melissa Cayne shot a 40 for Gorman.
