ROUNDUP: Freman’s 36 paces Crusader girls in Northwest win

Faith Lutheran’s Annie Freman carded an even-par 36 at Paiute on Wednesday to lead the Crusaders to victory in a Northwest League golf match.
The Crusaders’ team score of 167 was 16 strokes better than both Arbor View and Centennial, which tied for second at 183 and had identical fifth-golfer scores. Cimarron-Memorial finished fourth at 190.
Arbor View’s Kiley Ballew shot 39, and the Aggies’ Alyssa Ballew posted 40.

Green Valley runs away with Southeast match
At Revere, Alex Kaui shot a 2-under 34 to lead Green Valley to an easy win in a Southeast League match.

The Gators had a team score of 152. Coronado and Boulder City each shot 173 with the Cougars netting second place on a fifth-golfer tiebreaker.
Sarah Thomas added a 37 and Jenny Hahn had a 38 for the Gators.
Melanie Chambers posted a 37 to pace Coronado.
