ROUNDUP: Gaels breeze to win in Southwest meet

Nicolette Rivera shared medalist honors with a 3-over-par 39 at Rhodes Ranch on Tuesday, helping Bishop Gorman’s girls golf team to victory in a Southwest League meet.
Desert Oasis’ Darleen Raymond also carded a 39.
The Gaels had a team score of 165, easily defeating second-place Sierra Vista (198). Pahrump Valley took third at 201.
Gorman’s Kelly Horrell shot 40.

Crusaders nip Aggies in Northwest meet
At Paiute, Annie Freeman carded a 2-over 74 to earn medalist honors, and teammate Brianna Becker placed second with a 78 to lead Faith Lutheran to a Northwest League match victory.

The Crusaders had a team score of 343. Arbor View, led by an 81 from Alyssa Ballew and an 82 from Kiley Ballew, took second with a 345. Palo Verde finished third at 378, followed by Centennial (379), Cimarron-Memorial (383), and Shadow Ridge (491).
Cimarron freshman Aspen Bryant fired a hole-in-one on the par-3 seventh hole from 118 yards out.

Green Valley downs Boulder City
At Boulder Creek, Alex Kaui carded a 2-under-par 34 to help Green Valley to a 157-172 win over Boulder City.

Jenny Hahn added a 37 and Sarah Thomas shot 38 for the Gators.
