ROUNDUP: Gators’ Kaui shoots 10-under, sets course record at Los Prados

Alex Kaui set a course record at Los Prados on Wednesday, shooting 10-under-par 60 to earn medalist honors in a Northeast League match.

Kaui shot a 5-under 31 on the front nine, and followed it up with a 5-under 29 on the back.

Team scores were not reported.

Crusaders easily take Sunset match
At Mountain Falls, Brianna Becker carded a bogey-free 3-under 69 to lead Faith Lutheran to victory in a Division I-A Sunset League match.

The Crusaders had a team score of 302. Clark was second at 389, followed by Pahrump Valley at 525.

Annie Freman added a 75, and Julie Becker shot 76 for Faith Lutheran, which got an 82 from Sarah Paravia.

Clark’s Sabrina Ho shot 85.

Coronado’s girls golf team won the Class 5A state tournament Thursday to claim its third straight state title. It’s the seventh team state title for the school.
