ROUNDUP: Glasser, Slattery help Cougars to Southeast meet win

Julian Glasser and Kenden Slattery both shot 2-over-par 74 Wednesday to help Coronado’s boys golf team claim victory in a Southeast League match at Tuscany.
Coronado posted a team score of 376. Foothill finished second with 390, followed by Green Valley at 405.
Silverado’s Josh Fisher carded a 69 to take medalist honors.
Foothill’s Taylor Montgomery shot 73, and teammate Bailey Rogers fired a 74.

Palo Verde wins Northwest League match
At Paiute, Errek McClellan shot 1-over 73 to lead Palo Verde to the win in a Northwest League match.

The Panthers shot 381 as a team. Faith Lutheran (406) was second and Centennial (409) third.
Arbor View’s Zane Thomas was the medalist with a 69.
Shadow Ridge’s Ben Davis and Centennial’s Alec Sailer each shot 75.

Atkin, Bulldogs take 3A Southern League match
At Highland Falls, Kaden Atkin took medalist honors with a 5-over 77 to lead Virgin Valley to victory in a Class 3A Southern League match.

The Bulldogs posted a team score of 402. Boulder City was second at 441, followed by Needles at 472.
Virgin Valley’s Ryan Baeza, Brandon Cohen and Mitch Jones, and Moapa Valley’s Marcus Delgadillo each carded a 79.
