ROUNDUP: Kaui, Thomas lead Gator romp at Southeast match

Alex Kaui and Sarah Thomas each shot a 1-under-par 71 at Siena on Wednesday to lead Green Valley’s girls golf team to victory in a Southeast League match.

Mercedes Khunnark added an 80 for Green Valley, which shot 307 as a team.

Coronado’s Melanie Chambers also shot 71 to lead the Cougars (327) to a second-place finish. Tech was third at 400.

Crusaders romp in Northwest League match
At Aliante, Annie Freman carded a 2-under 70 as the Crusaders rolled to a Northwest League match victory.

Faith Lutheran, which also got a 74 from Brianna Becker and a 78 from Julia Becker, had a team score of 312. Arbor View was second at 332, followed by Cimarron-Memorial at 347.

Arianna Bryant and Aspen Bryant each shot 80 for the Spartans.
