ROUNDUP: Money, Ballew carry Aggies to Northwest win

Ashley Money and Kiley Ballew each shot 10-over-par 82 Wednesday to help Arbor View’s girls golf team to a win in a Northwest League match at Badlands.

The Aggies had a team score of 347. Palo Verde was second at 366, followed by Shadow Ridge (430) and Sierra Vista (485).

Palo Verde’s Amanda Ryu also shot 82 to share medalist honors.

Arbor View’s Shaylee Hollan took fourth with an 86, and Durango’s Yazmin Bengson was fifth with an 88.

Green Valley takes Northeast match
At Las Vegas National, Mercedes Khumnark carded a 2-over 74 to lead Green Valley to victory in a Northeast League match.

Green Valley had a team score of 410. Silverado was the only other squad to record a team score, registering a 462.

The Gators’ Sarah Thomas shot 86.

Tech wins Sunrise match
At Wildhorse, Tech had the only team to field the requisite four scoring golfers and won a Division I-A Sunrise League match at Wildhorse.

The Roadrunners shot 453 as a team.

Virgin Valley’s Randi Lewis was the medalist with an 11-over 79. Boulder City’s Jordyn Syler was second at 86, and Tech’s Meghan Chase took third with a 96.
