ROUNDUP: Virgin Valley’s Lewis captures Sunrise match title

Virgin Valley’s Randi Lewis carded an 8-over-par 80 to win the individual title at a Division I-A Sunrise League match at The Canyons on Thursday.

Boulder City’s Jordyn Syler was second with an 83.

Colee Mauss shot 97 to finish third and lead Tech to the team title with 437 points. Sunrise Mountain (534) was the only other school to field a complete squad.

Kaui, Gators cruise in Northeast
At Desert Willow, Green Valley's Alex Kaui shot an even-par 60 to take medalist honors in a Northeast League match.

Green Valley was the only squad to post a team score with a final tally of 283.

The Gators also got a 63 from Mercedes Khumnark and a 67 from Sarah Thomas.

Valley's Samantha Chambers shot 73, and Rancho's Aubrianna Jordan carded a 78.
