White Pine fourth after first day of 2A state golf

White Pine is fourth after the first day of the Class 2A girls golf tournament at Genoa Lakes Golf Club in Genoa.

The Bobcats had a team score of 555 on the opening day. Battle Mountain leads the team competition with a 419. Incline is second at 429.

West Wendover is in sixth at 631. Round Mountain was one of two teams unable to complete the round due to darkness.

Incline's Katelyn Wright has a 12-stroke lead in the individual competition after carding a 2-over-par 74. Battle Mountain's Stephanie Bullock is second after shooting an 86. White Pine's Emily Laity is 10th at 116.
