Outlook: The Mustangs return 10 lettermen from last year and hope to compete in Division I-A.

"The core of the squad is still strong," Shackley said. "The return of Johnnie Woodson to defense after two seasons of injury issues is a big boost. Adam DeJong and Austin Lee will be key players this year who carry the burden of being goal scorers as well as creators.

"Kwaku Kufuor has been an excellent goalkeeper for all three previous seasons, and this season he is expected to challenge for division honors.

"On the whole this team should be strong defensively, but has to find a way to score goals to be competitive."
