Outlook: The Gaels lost 10 lettermen, including five starters, from last year’s state championship squad.

Keith tallied eight goals and eight assists, and should be an offensive threat this year, along with Zapata (six assists) and Paez (four assists).

“Bishop Gorman will rely on a new group of players to defend its state title,” Borgel said. “A solid core of returning players and an infusion of some young talent will keep Gorman in the playoff hunt with the goal again to be the last team standing.”
