Outlook: Age and experience never have been two of the Diamondbacks’ characteristics, though that may finally change this year.

“The team has five players who are fourth year varsity players,” Matthews said.

Biorato and Ramirez each scored four goals, and Schoonmaker added three goals last season, and are expected to be among the offensive leaders.

“We are going to enjoy the beautiful game of soccer and hope to defeat all opposing schools,” Matthews said.
