Outlook: The Bulldogs were a painfully young team last year and took their lumps, but they should be better for it this year.

“We are returning a young team with good upside,” Pletzke said. “The team has the tools and skills necessary to compete. How they respond will dictate the results.

“We should have a successful season if everything comes together.”
