Area teams think pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month

A pair of local teams will host events in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Rancho’s boys soccer team will host a “pink out” match on Thursday at 6 p.m. against Canyon Springs. Players from both teams will wear pink uniforms, and all proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
Arbor View’s softball team will hold a children’s clinic Oct. 23, also to benefit the Susan G. Komen foundation.
The clinic, which starts at 2 p.m. and will run approximately four hours, is open to players ages 6 to 14.
For information, contact Arbor View’s Hillary Eisen at 799-6660, extension 4054.
