BOYS SOCCER: Cameron Cox’s second-half goal helps Gorman earn tie with Valley

Cameron Cox scored a goal midway through the second half to help Bishop Gorman’s boys soccer team earn a 1-1 draw with host Valley on Friday.

Adam Felipe Dumo scored a first-half goal off an assist from Joseph Cruz for the Vikings.

Durango 1, Clark 0 — At Clark, Alfredo Robles-Rodriguez scored a first-half goal, and the Trailblazers held on to defeat the Chargers.

Robles-Rodriguez’s goal was assisted by Oscar Rodriguez.

Sierra Vista 4, Desert Oasis 1 — At Desert Oasis, two goals in each half lifted the Mountain Lions over the Diamondbacks.

Daniel Perez, Adem Vucetovic, Greg Billingsley and Tanner Erwin each scored for Sierra Vista.

Dakota Jersic scored the Diamondbacks’ lone goal.

Spring Valley 7, Bonanza 1 — At Spring Valley, Bum Cho had two goals and two assists to lead the Grizzlies by the Bengals.

David Van Hoose and Ethan Orme each added two goals and an assist, and Jose Lopez had a goal and two assists for Spring Valley, which also got an assist from Ethan Harper.

Jonas Bryant scored the Bengals’ goal, assisted by Juan Rodriguez.

Adelson School 7, Pahrump Valley 1 — At Adelson School, Nevo Ziv had three goals and and an assist to power the Lions past the Trojans.

Alex Shmuelevich, Samuel Shain, Alex Sefia and Jalen Pitts all scored for Adelson School, which led 3-0 at halftime.

Liddor Bega had two of the Lions’ goals, and Maxime Chaltiel had another.

Tristan Coleman scored Pahrump’s lone goal.
