BOYS SOCCER: Corrigan Neville scores twice as Gorman tops Durango

Corrigan Neville scored twice Thursday to lead Bishop Gorman’s boys soccer team to a 3-1 home win over Durango.

Justin Rasmussen added a goal for the Gaels, who moved into first place in the Southwest League at 8-2.

Christopher Bramasco scored for Durango, which fell to second place at 7-2-1.

Liberty 3, Foothill 1 — At Liberty, R.J. Soriano scored twice to lead the Patriots over the Falcons.

Adrian Perez also scored for Liberty, which got two assists from Keanu Sanchez and an assist from Hayden Trasad.

Trent Milne scored on an assist from Becca Nyonyintono for Foothill.

Desert Oasis 2, Bonanza 2 — At Bonanza, Efrain Mayorga scored midway through the second half to give the host Bengals a tie with the Diamondbacks.

Juan Rodriguez scored the other goal for Bonanza.

Ethan Kovach and Haiko Hovak each had a goal for Desert Oasis, which led 2-1 at the half.

Tech 1, Chaparral 1 — At Chaparral, Ramiro Alvarado scored as the Cowboys rallied to force a tie against the Roadrunners.

Alvarado’s goal came off an assist from Ivan Topete.

Gabriel Aguilar scored for Tech off an assist from Andres Santana.

Virgin Valley 2, Moapa Valley 1 — At Overton, Justin Cazares and Christian Martinez each scored to lift the Bulldogs over the Pirates.

Jesus Navarro and Sergio Rodriguez each had assists for Virgin Valley, which scored in the final 10 minutes to break a 1-1 tie.

Moapa Valley’s Israel Rubio scored on an assist from Brian Robles.

Coronado 6, Green Valley 0 — At Coronado, John Lynam supplied two goals and three assists as the Cougars routed the Gators.

Preston Judd and Alfredo Diaz each had a goal and an assist for Coronado. Grant Smyth and Justin Irungaray also scored for the Cougars.

Harrison Skinner had four saves to earn the shutout.

Arbor View 5, Sierra Vista 2 — At Arbor View, Nicklaus Dongmann had two goals and an assist, as the Aggies used four second-half goals to down the Mountain Lions.

Ethan Boone, Daniel Corona and Jesse Pierce also scored for Arbor View, which got three assists from Christian Limon.

Daniel Perez and Justin Prescia each scored for Sierra Vista.

Spring Valley 6, Clark 1 — At Spring Valley, Ethan Orme had two goals and an assist to lead the Grizzlies past the Chargers.

Jose Lopez also scored twice for Spring Valley, which scored three times in the first half to take control of the game.

David Van Hoose scored a goal and had two assists, and Jonathan Goecke also scored for Spring Valley.

Kevin Medina scored for Clark.

Del Sol 5, Boulder City 0 — At Boulder City, Sergio Calderon scored two goals and had an assist as the Dragons routed the Eagles.

Kevin Hernandez, Ruben Ortiz and Diego Nieves each scored once for Del Sol, and Diego Flores-Diaz had three assists.

Goalkeeper Jesus Gallardo recorded the shutout.

Silverado 11, Basic 1 — At Silverado, David Matias-Flores had five goals and an assist to lead the Skyhawks to a big win over the Wolves.

Sunil Subba added a goal and three assists, and Sean Borla, Robert Deady, Robert Duplessis, Jaden Mohler and Payton Randall also scored for Silverado.

Basic scored thanks to an own goal by the Skyhawks.
