BOYS SOCCER: Enciso nets penalty kick, lifts Sunrise Mountain by Chaparral

Ivan Enciso scored on a penalty kick in the final minute of the match Wednesday to lift Sunrise Mountain's boys soccer team to a 1-0 win at Chaparral.

Cesar Venegas had six saves to earn the shutout for the Miners.

Coronado 1, Rancho 1 — At Rancho, Preston Judd's goal with 10 minutes left in the match allowed the Cougars to tie the Rams.

Tech 2, Desert Pines 1 — At Desert Pines, Luis Rincon's second-half goal broke a 1-1 tie and lifted the Roadrunners by the Jaguars.

Dylan Meekins also scored for Tech.

Virgin Valley 2, Boulder City 1 — At Boulder City, Moises Medina scored twice to help the Bulldogs build a 2-0 lead and hold off the Eagles.

Green Valley 3, Eldorado 2 — At Green Valley, Connor Malone scored three goals, including the game-winner with 15 minutes to go, as the Gators edged the Sundevils.

Braydon Lopez supplied two assists for Green Valley.

Eddie Mercado and Bryant Juarez scored for Eldorado.

Palo Verde 2, Legacy 0 — At Palo Verde, Presten Manthey had a goal and and assist to help the Panthers down the Longhorns.

Anthony Kaskie also scored for Palo Verde.

Nishesh Yadav made five saves to earn the shutout for the Panthers.

Bishop Gorman 3, Shadow Ridge 1 — At Shadow Ridge, Justin Rasmussen had a goal and an assist to help the Gaels top the Mustangs.

Jake Bickford and Jacob Hoapili each added a goal for Gorman, which led 2-0 at the half.

Shadow Ridge's Everett Heredia converted a second-half penalty kick.

Del Sol 5, Moapa Valley 1 — At Overton, Diego Nieves had two goals and an assist, and Ruben Ortiz scored twice to help power the Dragons past the Pirates.

Erik Serrano had a goal and two assists, and Diego Flores-Diaz supplied two assists for Del Sol.

Israel Frias scored for Moapa Valley.

Foothill 13, Basic 3 — At Foothill, Michael Carnahan had four goals and two assists as the Falcons routed the Wolves.

Rony Estrada had two goals and an assist, and Curt Richter and Trent Milne each had a goal and an assist for Foothill, which also got goals from Will Vega, Parker Erickson, Isaac Olsen, Dylan Verrastro and Kyle Thomas. Noah Morris, Reagan Mugume and Devan Henriott each had two assists for the Falcons.

Topias Pennanen scored twice, and Brian Cubias added a goal for Basic.
