BOYS SOCCER: Hollimon, Patriots upset Gorman

Joey Hollimon scored three goals, including the match winner with seven minutes left, to help visiting Liberty's boys soccer team upset No. 2 Bishop Gorman, 4-3 on Friday.

Colton Cox added a goal for the Patriots, who trailed 3-2 at halftime.

Justin Rasmussen scored twice, and Corrigan Neville added a goal for Gorman, which got two assists from Jeffrey Wright.

Sierra Vista 1, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Kebba Jobe's unassisted goal with 15 minutes left in the match lifted the Mountain Lions by the Crusaders.

Donovan McCree made four saves to preserve the shutout for Sierra Vista.

Spring Valley 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Spring Valley, David Van Hoose had a goal and an assist to lead the Grizzlies by the Desert Shields.

Aldo Montengro and Ethan Orme also scored for Spring Valley.

Ethan Harper made five saves en route to the shutout.

Green Valley 3, Legacy 0 — At Green Valley, Antonio Trama had two goals and an assist to power the Gators by the Longhorns.

Ricardo Nunez also scored for Green Valley.

Salvatore Hicks made four saves en route to the shutout.

Clark 5, Mojave 1 — At Mojave, Jose Puentes scored twice, and Ivan Lopez had a goal and two assists to lead the Chargers by the Rattlers.

Juan Sanchez-Moran had a goal and an assist, and Oscar Mata also scored for Clark, which got two assists from Eduardo Martinez.

Eduardo Luna-Ruiz scored for Mojave.
