BOYS SOCCER: Jahuey’s late goal allows Skyhawks to tie Cheyenne

Manny Jahuey scored his third goal of the match with one minute to play Monday to help Silverado's boys soccer team earn a 3-3 tie with visiting Cheyenne.

Josey Zapata scored twice, and Christian Soalke added a goal for the Desert Shields.

Pahrump Valley 2, Faith Lutheran 2 — At Faith Lutheran, the Trojans scored two second-half goals to earn a draw with the host Crusaders in a game stopped with 12 minutes left because of lightning.

Arturo Morales and Nathan Vallin each had a goal for Pahrump.

Harut Khachoyan had a goal and an assist, and Conner Frame scored for Faith Lutheran.

Las Vegas 1, Valley 1 — At Valley, the Wildcats' Alexander Melchor and the Vikings' Carlos Mendez each scored in the first half, and the teams played to a tie.

Canyon Springs 2, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, Roberto Salazar scored twice to lead the Pioneers by the Patriots.

Daniel Bibriesca made six saves to earn the shutout for Canyon Springs.

Cimarron-Memorial 2, Bonanza 0 — At Cimarron, Dresden Quackenbush scored twice to lift the Spartans by the Bengals.

Richard Crews made six saves to earn the shutout for Cimarron.

Spring Valley 2, Clark 0 — At Spring Valley, Ethan Orme and Jose Lopez scored first-half goals to push the Grizzlies past the Chargers.

Ethan Harper had six saves to earn the shutout for Spring Valley.

Mojave 5, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Eduardo Luna-Ruiz scored two goals to lead the Rattlers past the Mountain Lions.

Antonio Perez had a goal and two assists, and Cecilio Flores scored a goal for the Rattlers, who benefitted from an own goal.

Gabriel Sida and Jesus Angulo combined on the shutout for Mojave.

Arbor View 4, Desert Oasis 2 — At Desert Oasis, Dalton Rice scored two goals, and the Aggies grabbed a 4-0 halftime lead and held off the Diamondbacks.

Christian Limon and Niko Dongmann each added a goal for Arbor View.
