BOYS SOCCER: Longhorns battle back to earn draw with Jaguars

Luka Skrinjaric scored twice on penalty kicks in the second half Thursday to lift Legacy’s boys soccer team to a 2-2 tie with visiting Desert Pines.
Skrinjaric was awarded a third penalty kick late in the match, but couldn’t convert.
Diego Sanchez and Genaro Corona each scored a first-half goal for the Jaguars.
Desert Oasis 3, Foothill 2 — At Desert Oasis, Conner Stuart scored twice to lead the Diamondbacks by the Falcons.
Herson Ramirez added a goal for Desert Oasis, which led 2-0 at the half.
Robert Cowan scored for Foothill, which also benefited from an own goal.
Canyon Springs 4, Arbor View 4 — At Arbor View, Jonathan Martinez scored twice, including the game-tying goal in the final 10 minutes, to help the Pioneers tie the Aggies.
Gaspar Gonzalez also tallied twice and added an assist for Canyon Springs, which led 3-1 at halftime.
Justin McCabe gave Arbor View a 4-3 lead after Daniel Rivas and Christian Jaramillo also scored second-half goals for the Aggies. Jaramillo finished with two assists, as well.
Palo Verde 6, Del Sol 1 — At Del Sol, Nolan Sherwood had two goals and an assist as the Panthers ran past the Dragons.
Adam Afromsky and Matt Thomas each had a goal and an assist, and Will Cleland and Powell Naylor each scored once for Palo Verde.
Del Sol’s Juan Sequeira scored on a penalty kick with two minutes left.
Cimarron-Memorial 2, Green Valley 2 — At Cimarron, Garrick Quackenbush scored with eight minutes remaining to allow the Spartans to tie the Gators.
Johnny Centeno also scored for Cimarron.
Breno Rocha and Daniel Valdez netted a goal each for Green Valley.
Shadow Ridge 1, Bonanza 1 — At Shadow Ridge, Tyler Lavoie converted a penalty kick with 15 minutes left in the match to allow the Mustangs to tie the Bengals.
Victor DeLeon scored a first-half goal for Bonanza.
Coronado 2, Las Vegas 0 — At Las Vegas, Justin Lyons and Viet Nguyen notched second-half goals, and the Cougars upended the Wildcats.
Kaviyon Sadrolashrafi made three saves to post the shutout for Coronado.
Mojave 1, Sierra Vista 1 — At Mojave, Christian Martinez scored on a penalty kick to allow the Rattlers to tie the Mountain Lions.
Joseph Pacheco scored Sierra Vista’s goal.
Eldorado 3, Chaparral 2 — At Eldorado, Israel Hernandez scored twice as the Sundevils nipped the Cowboys.
Andres Lua also scored for Eldorado.
Gavynn Mossiah and Alex Robledo scored for Chaparral.
Clark 2, Durango 0 — At Durango, Jose Munoz and Eduardo Martinez each scored a goal as the Chargers blanked the Trailblazers.
Alan Zuniga made five saves and recorded the shutout for Clark.
Tech 2, Western 0 — At Tech, Brandon Vargas scored twice in the first half, and the Roadrunners blanked the Warriors.
Tyler Harvey and Michael Henry combined on the shutout for Tech.
Spring Valley 8, Moapa Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Sergio Borboa scored three goals, and Jonathan Covarrubias added two goals as the Grizzlies routed the Pirates.
Jose Lopez had a goal and an assist, and Haider Kourani and Dennis Tau each scored once for Spring Valley, which got two assists from Andrew Bustios.
Stanislov Kopich made six saves en route to the shutout.
Boulder City 11, Adelson School 3 — At Boulder City, Yann Moncayo had four goals, and Victor Andrades added two goals and four assists as the Eagles overwhelmed the Lions.
Nick Walker and Marcus Walker each had a goal and an assist, and Hunter Dale, James Walsh and Kurt Steinke also scored for Boulder City, which led 9-0 at the half.
Dominic Bembenek had a goal and an assist, and Joe Perry and Nevo Ziv also scored for Adelson School.
