BOYS SOCCER: Munguia’s goal gives Trailblazers win over Longhorns

Jamie Munguia scored the go-ahead goal midway through the second half Tuesday to help Durango’s boys soccer team to a 3-2 victory over visiting Legacy.

Giovanni Rodriguez scored two goals to help the Trailblazers build a 2-1 halftime lead.

Luka Skrinjaric and Jose Ramirez scored for the Longhorns.

Tech 3, Virgin Valley 2 — At Mesquite, Fabian Vera broke a 2-2 tie with a second-half goal to help the Roadrunners edge the Bulldogs.

Eduardo Sanchez and Adolfo Guzman also scored for Tech.

Moises Medina and Raphael DeSantiago scored for Virgin Valley, which got two assists from Gabe Medina.

Foothill 3, Green Valley 1 — At Green Valley, Robert Cowan had two goals and an assist as the Falcons downed the Gators.

Jackson Dietrich added a goal for Foothill.

Austin Quirt scored for Green Valley.

Shadow Ridge 3, Palo Verde 0 — At Palo Verde, Matthew Camacho had a goal and an assist, and the Mustangs did all of their scoring in the second half to top the Panthers.

Joel Perez and Jack Guynn also scored, and Alex Pacheco had two assists for Shadow Ridge.

Nik Bugtrup made seven saves to earn the shutout.

Eldorado 4, Rancho 1 — At Rancho, Israel Hernandez scored three goals to help the Sundevils defeat the Rams.

Christian Chavarria also scored for Eldorado.

Kevin Rodriguez-Clavel scored a second-half goal for Rancho.

Sunrise Mountain 6, Del Sol 1 — At Sunrise Mountain, Marco Ruiz had two goals and an assist to lead the Miners past the Dragons.

Andy Alcala had a goal and an assist, and Jose Arreola, Jorge Molina and Jose Galindo also scored for Sunrise Mountain.

Johan Rodriguez scored Del Sol’s goal.

Chaparral 7, Moapa Valley 0 — At Overton, Carlos Hernandez had four goals and an assist to help lead the Cowboys past the Pirates.

Jose Morales added two goals and an assist, and Gavynn Mossiah also scored for Chaparral, which got three assists from Aldo Skewes.

Gerardo Skewes made two saves en route to the shutout.

Desert Pines 7, Boulder City 0 — At Boulder City, Pablo Martinez, Oswaldo Medina and Jimmy Rodriguez each scored two goals as the Jaguars rolled past the Eagles.

Santiago Solis added a goal, and Rodrigo Andrade supplied two assists for Desert Pines.

Daniel Mendoza and Josafat Trinidad combined on the shutout.

Pahrump Valley 10, Adelson School 0 — At Adelson School, Jose Nunez and Nick Nelson each scored twice as the Trojans routed the Lions.

Coronado 11, Basic 0 — At Coronado, Justin Lyons had five goals and two assists as the Cougars downed the Wolves.

Jalen Randolph and Shawn Kinney each had two goals, and John Lynam added a goal and an assist for Coronado, which also got a goal from Sebastian Vallejo.

Preston Judd had three assists, and Alex Taylor had two assists for the Cougars.

Austin Kost and Logan Duffy combined on the shutout.
