BOYS SOCCER: Quintero-Rodriguez scores twice, leads Pioneers by Liberty

Eduardo Quintero-Rodriguez scored his second goal of the match with 23 minutes left to break a 1-1 tie and lift Canyon Springs' boys soccer team to a 2-1 victory over visiting Liberty on Wednesday.

Ramon Urias-Medina assisted on both of Quintero-Rodriguez's goals.

Parker Randall scored for the Patriots.

Cheyenne 2, Sierra Vista 1 — At Sierra Vista, Christian Soalke scored twice, including the tiebreaking goal midway through the second half, to lead the Desert Shields by the Mountain Lions.

Josey Zapata had two assists for Cheyenne.

Kebba Jobe scored for Sierra Vista.

Cimarron-Memorial 2, Bonanza 1 — At Bonanza, Philip Obradvic's goal midway through the second half broke a 1-1 tie and lifted the Spartans to the win over the Bengals.

Roberto Elicerio also scored for Cimarron.

Manuel Ponce scored for Bonanza.

Arbor View 2, Desert Oasis 1 — At Arbor View, Alfredo Carrera had a goal and an assist to help the Aggies build a 2-0 halftime lead and hold off the Diamondbacks.

Niko Dongmann also scored for Arbor View.

Logan Haustein scored for Desert Oasis.

Las Vegas 1, Valley 0 — At Las Vegas, Randy Casas converted a penalty kick with five minutes left in the match to send the Wildcats by the Vikings.

Miguel Navarrete was in goal for the shutout.

Western 5, Mojave 2 — At Mojave, Ramon Perez-Meza had two goals and an assist as the Warriors topped the Rattlers.

Federico Romano and Angel Gutierrez-Montes each scored for Western, which benefitted from an own goal.

Antonio Perez scored twice for Mojave.

Clark 6, Faith Lutheran 2 — At Faith Lutheran, Eduardo Martinez had two goals and an assist, and Jose Puentes scored twice as the Chargers defeated the Crusaders.

Amara Konneh had a goal and an assist, and Ivan Lopez also scored for Clark, which got two assists from Juan Sanchez-Moran.

Faith Lutheran's Harut Khachoyan had a goal and an assist, and Conner Frame scored once for the Crusaders.

Spring Valley 8, Pahrump Valley 2 — At Spring Valley, David Van Hoose had two goals and two assists, and Jose Lopez added two goals and an assist as the Grizzlies overpowered the Trojans.

Ethan Orme scored twice, and Aldo Montenegro had a goal and an assist for Spring Valley, which also got a goal from Octavio Montenegro.

Alex Ramirez scored twice for Pahrump.
