BOYS SOCCER: Second-half goals help Grizzlies nip Dragons

Haider Karouni and Tyson Perkins each scored a second-half goal Tuesday to help Spring Valley’s boys soccer team nip host Del Sol, 2-1.

Juan Sequeira scored the Dragons’ goal in the first half.

Canyon Springs 2, Legacy 1 — At Legacy, Gaspar Gonzalez and Jonathan Martinez scored first-half goals to help the Pioneers defeat the Longhorns.

Gabriel Nunez scored in the second half for Legacy.

Liberty 5, Las Vegas 1 — At Liberty, Danny Musovski scored three goals, and Joey Hollimon added a goal and an assist to help the Patriots top the Wildcats.

Osias Dixon also scored, and Adam Musovski had two assists for Liberty.

Alexis Berrios scored for Las Vegas.

Cimarron-Memorial 5, Sierra Vista 1 — At Cimarron, the Spartans got goals from five players and rolled past the Mountain Lions.

Josue Rivera, Scotty Robles, Nico DeLaTorre, Abel Zavalza and Angel Esparza each scored a goal for Cimarron. Dresdan Quackenbush added two assists for the Spartans.

Miles McRae scored on a second-half penalty kick for Sierra Vista.

Eldorado 10, Silverado 2 — At Silverado, Israel Hernandez scored three goals, and Edgar Duran and Chris Perez each had two goals and three assists as the Sundevils overwhelmed the Skyhawks.

Andres Lua added two goals and an assist, and Gabriel Pedraza also scored for Eldorado.

Lucas Tovar scored both Silverado goals.

Clark 11, Adelson School 1 — At Clark, Alexis Lopez scored three goals, and Oscar Martinez added a goal and three assists as the Chargers blitzed the Lions.

Jose Sahagun, Carlos Ramos, Jose Munoz and Eduardo Martinez each added a goal and an assist for Clark, which also got goals from Isaac Huerta, Juan Sanchez and Ivan Lopez.

Oscar Chaltiel scored for Adelson School.

Bonanza 5, Rancho 3 — At Rancho, Luca Baiao scored three goals to lift the Bengals by the Rams.

Carlos Garay and Geo Hernandez also scored for Bonanza.

Miguel Diaz-Ortiz had two goals, and Arturo Gutierrez scored once for Rancho.

The undefeated Coronado boys soccer team made sure it was ready for Saturday’s Class 5A Southern League final after losing to Palo Verde last season.
