ROUNDUP: Aguirre nets two second-half goals as Longhorn boys top Spartans

Saul Aguirre scored twice in the second half Monday to lead Legacy’s boys soccer team to a 3-1 win over visiting Cimarron-Memorial.
Luka Skrinjaric had a goal and two assists for the Longhorns.
Oso Valencia’s scored in the final minute of the first half for the Spartans.
Western 7, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Pahrump, Edgar Lujano had four goals and an assist to help the Warriors wrap up the Sunset League’s top seed for the Division I-A playoffs with a win over the Trojans.
Fernando Caro had two goals, and Luis Ponce added a goal and five assists for Western.
Jose Bautista and Reynaldo Velazquez combined on the shutout.
Tech 5, Virgin Valley 1 — At Mesquite, Salvador Garcia had two goals and two assists to lead the Roadrunners past the Bulldogs.
Erik Gonzalez and Brandon Vargas each had a goal and an assist, and Derian Salcido also scored for Tech.
Marcelo Lara scored for Virgin Valley.
Sunrise Mountain 1, Chaparral 1 — At Chaparral, the Miners and Cowboys played to a tie.
Sunrise Mountain’s Luis Charro and Chaparral’s Jose Morales each scored a first-half goal.
Bishop Gorman 0, Centennial 0 — At Centennial, the Gaels and Bulldogs played to a scoreless tie.
Gorman’s Thomas Olsen and Centennial’s Justin Anderson had the shutouts.
Clark 2, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Clark, Victor Alvarez had a goal and an assist to power the Chargers past the Crusaders.
Juan Regalado also scored for Clark, and teammate Ramon Ramirez registered the shutout.
Boulder City 4, Moapa Valley 0 — At Boulder City, Gonzalo Bermudez scored two goals to lead the Eagles over the Pirates.
Matthew Stewart had a goal and an assist, and Victor Andrades also scored for Boulder City.
Austin Roefer made five saves to earn the shutout.
Mojave 6, The Meadows 0 — At Mojave, Ivan Martinez scored twice, and Juan Ramirez added a goal and two assists as the Rattlers downed the Mustangs.
Ulyses Bibiano, Lynno Muro and Justin Lemay also scored for Mojave, which got two assists from Sergio Pena.
Gulmaro Falcon was in goal for the shutout.
Bonanza 6, Desert Oasis 2 — At Bonanza, the Bengals downed the Diamondbacks.
Luis Cisneros and Kirk Schroeder each scored for Desert Oasis.
Cheyenne 3, Adelson School 0 — At Adelson School, the Desert Shields scored twice in the first half on their way to a win over the Lions.
