ROUNDUP: Bannai’s last-minute goal gives Gator boys win

Akira Bannai scored in the final minute Wednesday to break a 1-1 tie and lift Green Valley’s boys soccer team to a 2-1 win at Foothill.
Mark Ocampo’s goal gave the Gators a 1-0 halftime lead.
Mason Reid scored to tie the match for the Falcons.
Las Vegas 2, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Estevan Benavides converted a pair of first-half penalty kicks, and the Wildcats held off the Aggies.
Enrique Adame recorded the shutout for Las Vegas.
Palo Verde 6, Del Sol 0 — At Palo Verde, Eduardo Renteria scored three goals to help the Panthers rout the Dragons.
Austin Polster added a goal and an assist for Palo Verde, and Will Cleland and Mitchell Scott each scored once for the Panthers.
Goalkeeper Nishant Yadav had six saves to earn the shutout.
Canyon Springs at Liberty — The match between the Pioneers and the Patriots was postponed due to rain and lightning. A make-up date has not been set.
GIRLS
Shadow Ridge 2, Coronado 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Gabby Gonzales and Brianna Haworth each notched a goal as the Mustangs blanked the Cougars.
Dallas Gunny recorded the shutout for Shadow Ridge.
Liberty 6, Canyon Springs 2 — At Canyon Springs, April Ficarotta scored three goals to help the Patriots rally from a 2-1 halftime deficit and pick up a win over the Pioneers.
Sierra Sorenson, Valentina Czrk and Nicole Cuce each had a goal for Liberty.
Diamond Larson scored twice for Canyon Springs.
Green Valley 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Green Valley, Kayla Anderson scored two goals to lead the Gators past the Diamondbacks.
Faith Ezelle had a goal and an assist, and Cayla Imahara had two assists for Green Valley.
Nicole Dunn and Kiyana Lopez combined on the shutout.
