ROUNDUP: Beil’s late stunner helps Del Sol hand Tech first loss

Eric Beil’s goal with 13 minutes remaining Monday was the difference as Del Sol’s boys soccer team handed visiting Tech its first loss of the season, 2-1.
Jose Osorio scored a goal to give Del Sol (7-3-2, 6-2-1 Southeast) a 1-0 halftime lead.
Luis Carranza scored the match-tying goal five minutes after the break for the Roadrunners (8-1-4, 6-1-2).
That set the stage for Beil, who took a pass from Roberto Perez and cashed it in for the winning goal.
Palo Verde 3, Mojave 2 — At Palo Verde, Matthew Polster’s tie-breaking goal with 90 seconds left capped a wild finish and lifted the Panthers past the Rattlers.
Palo Verde led 2-1 until Alex Almarez scored the tying goal with three minutes to play.
Matej Kustura and Derek Dolence also scored for Palo Verde, which got two assists from Julian Portugal.
Benjamin Soto had a goal for Mojave.
Desert Pines 2, Canyon Springs 0 — At Desert Pines, Sergio Gonzalez and Victor Favela scored a goal apiece for the Jaguars in their win over the Pioneers.
Angel Guzman made four saves to earn the shutout.
Las Vegas 4, Eldorado 0 — At Las Vegas High, Estevan Benavides scored twice in the first half to send the Wildcats on their way to a shutout over the Sundevils.
Abraham Paz and Beto Franco also scored for Las Vegas.
Roger Zaragoza made two saves to record the shutout.
Valley 8, Rancho 1 — At Rancho, Eddie Flores had three goals as the Vikings blitzed the Rams.
Juan Carlos Gomez added two goals and two assists, and Tony Velasquez had a goal and two assists for the Vikings.
Valley’s Abel Alverado and Juan Velasco also scored a goal apiece.
Artie Zepeda scored for Rancho.
Sunrise Mountain 4, Chaparral 2 — At Sunrise Mountain, Oscar Osuna had two goals, and Eduardo Enciso added a goal and two assists as the Miners downed the Cowboys.
Diego Segovia also scored for Sunrise Mountain.
Fernando Noriega tallied both of Chaparral’s goals.
Silverado 6, Basic 1 — At Basic, Chase Leaders had two goals and an assist to help the Skyhawks defeat the Wolves.
Michael Maldonado and Martin Loewig each added a goal and an assist for Silverado. Dalton Randall and Vincent Stokes also scored for the Skyhawks.
Miguel Alcala had Basic’s lone goal.
Green Valley 4, Foothill 2 — At Foothill, Matt Babas scored all four of his team’s goals to lead the Gators past the Falcons.
Dylan Rogo notched two assists for Green Valley.
Christian Volesky and Brandon Rowe tallied a goal each for Foothill.
Coronado 3, Liberty 0 — At Coronado, Jordan Yergensen notched a goal and two assists to send the Cougars past the Patriots.
Dyran Romney and Austin Whitaker also scored for Coronado.
Danny Sellitti made one save to record the shutout.
Moapa Valley 5, Adelson School 3 — At Adelson, Borha Mateos tallied three goals to help the Pirates earn the win over the Lions.
Dylan Smith and Cole Whitten each added a goal for Moapa Valley.
Mendy Berrebi scored twice, and Ben Huisinan also scored for Adelson.
