Roundup: Canyon Springs scores late to earn road win over Foothill

Canyon Springs’ boys soccer team scored the go-ahead goal with about seven minutes to play and held on for a 2-1 road win over Foothill on Tuesday afternoon.

Ramon Urias-Medina and Edgar Muniz each had a second-half goal for the Pioneers.

Stanley Henderson scored in the first half for Foothill.

Eldorado 1, Coronado 1 — At Coronado, the Sundevils and Cougars each scored a second-half goal to earn a tie.

Erick Diaz scored for Eldorado.

Brock Rideout scored on an assist from Noah Velgos for Coronado.

Valley 2, Green Valley 1 — At Valley, Jesse Mako scored a second-half goal off an assist from Anthony Navarro-Marquez to give the Vikings a victory over the Gators.

Navarro-Marquez also scored for Valley.

Vincent Vitellaro scored Green Valley’s goal.

Bishop Gorman 3, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Devun Beristain, Hayden Masden and Nikolas Oseland each scored a second-half goal to lead the Gaels past the Mountain Lions.

Diesel Fiore and Kauila Hoapili each had two saves to combine on the shutout for Gorman.

Bonanza 4, Clark 0 — At Bonanza, Jonas Bryant had a goal and two assists in the Bengals’ victory over the Chargers.

Sergie Delgado had a goal and an assist, and Fidel Ordaz and Jared Chavez each scored for Bonanza, which led 2-0 at halftime.

Alejandro Tabardillo and Alan Villaceballos combined on the shutout.

Durango 6, Desert Oasis 1 — At Durango, William Hailu tallied two goals and an assist, and teammates Tyson Tesfamariam and Jaime Munguia each supplied a goal and an assist as the Trailblazers defeated the Diamondbacks.

Marcos Delgado and Gael Delangel-Parra also scored for Durango.

Ethan Kovach scored for Desert Oasis.

Las Vegas 9, Basic 1 — At Las Vegas High, Sergio Aguayo had four goals and four assists, and Nathan Zamora added two goals and one assist to power the Wildcats to a win over the Wolves.

Daniel Rangel and Anthony Gonzalez each had one goal and two assists, and Carlos Sanchez also scored for Las Vegas, which led 4-0 at halftime.

Pablo Sanchez scored for Basic.

Chaparral 9, Boulder City 1 — At Boulder City, Miguel Mendoza had four goals and three assists, and Alexander Caro added three goals and one assist as the Cowboys routed the Eagles.

Bryan Macias had one goal and two assists, and Hugo Salgado also scored for Chaparral, which led 3-1 at halftime.

Julian Balmer scored Boulder City’s goal.

Liberty 8, Somerset-Sky Pointe 1 — At Liberty, Ben Stang scored five goals to power the Patriots past the Eagles.

Keanu Sanchez, Angel Gonzalez and David Leon also scored for Liberty, which got two assists from Hayden Prasad.

Steven Sanchez scored for Somerset-Sky Pointe.

Tech 6, Moapa Valley 0 — At Overton, Alan Lopez scored twice, and goalkeepers Erik Cavares and Yobani Garcia-Benitez combined to earn the shutout as the Roadrunners blanked the Pirates.

Gabe Natividad added a goal and an assist, and teammates Agustin Nunez, Asish Pandey and Alex Meija also scored for Tech.

Durand Farr supplied two assists for the Roadrunners.

Adelson School 10, Coral Academy 0 — At Adelson School, Liddor Bega had three goals and two assists as the Lions routed the Falcons.

Alex Sefia and Dylan Soresman each supplied three goals and an assist, and Ryan Litt also scored for Adelson School.

Madison Bahel had five saves to get the shutout.

Rancho 4, Silverado 2 — At Rancho, the Rams defeated the Skyhawks.

Jaime Ayala scored both of Silverado’s goals.

Spring Valley 2, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Faith Lutheran, John Goecke scored a pair of goals — one in each half — to lead the Grizzlies past the Crusaders.

Carson Merrill scored in the 75th minute for Faith Lutheran.

Del Sol 4, Virgin Valley 0 — At Mesquite, Sergio Calderon had a goal and an assist, and the Dragons also got goals from Ismael Veloz, Jose Moreno-Mendez and Yerovys Vargas-Gill as they blanked the Bulldogs.

Oscar Morales-Casimiro had two assists, and goalkeeper Jesus Gallardo picked up the shutout.
