ROUNDUP: Centennial tops Palo Verde in boys soccer to clinch Northwest title

Kevin Rogge scored three goals and had an assist Tuesday as Centennial’s boys soccer team clinched first place in the Northwest League with a 5-2 win over visiting Palo Verde.

The Bulldogs improved to 11-0 in the league and have a 10-point lead over second-place Cimarron-
Memorial with three matches remaining.

Centennial’s Oscar Moran and Richard Minaian each added a goal.

Josh Leiserowitz had a goal and an assist for the Panthers, and Frankie Rivero also scored.

Arbor View 3, Cimarron-
Memorial 1 —
At Arbor View, Johnny Mayorga and Blaise Hill did all the scoring for the Aggies in a win over the Spartans.

Mayorga had two goals and an assist, and Hill had a goal and two assists.

Jesus Zacarias scored for Cimarron.

Legacy 2, Cheyenne 0 — At Legacy, Julio Uribe scored both goals as the Longhorns downed Desert Shields.

Edwin Cisneros recorded the shutout for Legacy.

Mojave 3, Shadow Ridge 2 — At Mojave, Faustino Ramirez scored two second-half goals as the Rattlers rallied from a 2-1 halftime deficit to top the Mustangs.

Luis Gutierrez also scored for Mojave.

Austin Newman and Arturo Gonzalez scored for Shadow Ridge.

Green Valley 0, Tech 0 — At Tech, the Gators and the Roadrunners played to a scoreless tie for the second time this season.

Edgar Velazguez earned the shutout for Tech. Ace Evans registered the shutout for the Gators.

Foothill 9, Liberty 0 — At Foothill, Christian Volesky had three goals and an assist to help the Falcons defeat the Patriots.

Drew Suits added two goals and two assists, and Efrain Meza scored twice for Foothill. Andy Rodriguez and Taylor Servin each scored once, and Rodriguez was credited with the shutout.

Del Sol 6, Basic 0 — At Basic, Eric Beil scored two goals to help the Dragons blank the Wolves.

Sean Campbell, David Hernandez, Jesse Romero and Jose Osorio each scored a goal for Del Sol.

Gerardo Hernandez recorded the shutout for the Dragons.

Silverado 1, Coronado 1 — At Coronado, the Cougars led at intermission, but a second-half goal by Chase Leaders allowed the Skyhawks to earn the tie.

Jake LeClaire scored for the Cougars.

Faith Lutheran 3, The Meadows 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Ryan Sniezyk had two goals and an assist to lead the Crusaders past the Mustangs.

Tyler Koerwitz also scored, and Tyler Norman had two assists. Marc Davies had four saves to get the shutout.

Lake Mead 4, Moapa Valley 0 — At Lake Mead, Zachary Mullins scored twice, and Emily Dean added a goal and an assist as the Eagles blanked the Pirates.

Spencer Kowis also scored for the Eagles.

Jordan Tillman recorded the shutout for Lake Mead.

Virgin Valley 1, Boulder City 0 — At Boulder City, Danny Medina scored 15 minutes into the match to lift the Bulldogs over the Eagles.

Tim Cook had four saves to earn the shutout for the Bulldogs.
