ROUNDUP: Chargers edge Bengals for boys soccer victory

Raul Castro and Salvador Bernal each scored a first-half goal, and the Clark boys soccer team held on for a 2-1 road win over Bonanza on Thursday.
Miguel Gonzalez and Juan Chavez had assists for the Chargers.
Chad Smith scored for the Bengals.
Spring Valley 2, Sierra Vista 1 — At Spring Valley, Kelichi Obilor scored one goal in each half, and the Grizzlies held on to defeat the Mountain Lions.
Ricky Gonzalez and Kyle Martin had assists for Spring Valley, which led 2-0.
Peter Omosa scored for Sierra Vista.
Durango 6, Desert Oasis 3 — At Desert Oasis, the Trailblazers seized a 4-1 halftime lead on their way to the victory.
Domenico D’Amelio and Paul Morales each scored two goals for Durango, which also got goals from Francisco Bautista and Arjenis Bautista.
Alex Vides, Jorge Montalvo and Sigifredo Ruiz each scored once for Desert Oasis.
Virgin Valley 0, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Faith Lutheran, the teams played to a scoreless tie, ending the Crusaders’ streak of 10 straight wins.
Virgin Valley’s Carlos Rosales (10 saves) and Faith Lutheran’s Marc Davies recorded shutouts in goal.
The Meadows 6, Lake Mead 1 — At Lake Mead, Alex Karabachev had three goals and an assist in the Mustangs’ victory against the Eagles.
The Meadows’ Tony Warburton had a goal and two assists, and teammates Corin Galati and Cameron Brown each added a goal.
