ROUNDUP: Cleland, Obata rally Palo Verde boys past Mustangs

Will Cleland and Kyler Obata each scored a second-half goal Wednesday to rally Palo Verde’s boys soccer team from a 1-0 halftime deficit for a 2-1 win at Shadow Ridge.

Blake Damato scored for the Mustangs.

Durango 2, Sierra Vista 2 — At Sierra Vista, Mahmoud Sanaei’s goal midway through the second-half allowed the Mountain Lions to tie the Trailblazers.

Max Vintilov also scored for Sierra Vista.

Cristoval Magana had both Durango goals.

Green Valley 3, Silverado 1 —
At Silverado, Kade Kochevar scored twice, and Daniel Valdez scored a goal as the Gators overcame a 1-0 halftime deficit to top the Skyhawks.

Ian DuBoe scored for Silverado.

Coronado 2, Foothill 0 — At Coronado, Chase Rhinehart and Jalen Randolph each scored a second-half goal to lift the Cougars past the Falcons.

Kaviyon Sadrolashrafi earned the shutout with three saves.

Eldorado 3, Del Sol 2 — At Del Sol, Chris Perez scored three goals to help the Sundevils down the Dragons.

Randy Delamos and Angel Castillo each scored for Del Sol.

Las Vegas 4, Rancho 1 —
At Las Vegas, Danny Nunez scored twice, and Ricardo Guzman had a goal and two assists as the Wildcats downed the Rams.

Alexis Berrios also scored for Las Vegas.

Aaron Ortiz tallied Rancho’s goal.

Arbor View 5, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, the Aggies used goals from Christian Jaramillo, Jose Lebanino, Toby Cartledge, R.J. Brown and Willie Ortiz to rout the Grizzlies.

Nathan Bohn earned the shutout.

Liberty 7, Basic 0 — At Basic, Danny Musovski scored five goals as the Patriots blanked the Wolves.

Chandler Prasad added two goals for Liberty, which got two assists from Joseph Hollimon.

Chris Bradford made two saves en route to the shutout.

Canyon Springs 9, Valley 0 — At Canyon Springs, Jonathan Martinez scored five goals to lead the Pioneers past the Vikings.

Mario Corral had two goals and two assists, and Chris Garcia scored twice for Canyon Springs.

Alan Meza and Uriel Aquilera had two assists each for the Pioneers, who got a three-save shutout from Micheal Ortega.

The Meadows 6, Adelson School 0 —
At Adelson School, Austin Lee fired in five goals, and Matthew Holdapp added a goal as the  Mustangs blanked the Lions.

Kwaku Kufuor picked up the shutout for the Mustangs, recording three saves.
