ROUNDUP: Coronado boys soccer team slips past Liberty

Jake LeClaire scored with 90 seconds remaining to give Coronado a 1-0 road win over Liberty in boys soccer Tuesday.
Goalkeeper Denny Sellitti recorded the shutout for the Cougars.
Shadow Ridge 1, Legacy 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Cody Fitzhugh’s goal midway through the second half gave the Mustangs the win over the Longhorns.
Jessie Morgan had 13 saves to preserve the shutout for Shadow Ridge.
Tech 2, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Arturo Carrillo scored two first-half goals to lead the Roadrunners over the Dragons.
Edgar Velasquez recorded the shutout.
Cimarron-
Memorial 2, Palo Verde 1 — At Palo Verde, Ben Schultz and Edgar Nava scored first-half goals as the Spartans edged the Panthers.
Palo Verde’s Max Amster scored on an assist from Matt Polaster.
Mojave 2, Arbor View 2 — At Mojave, the Rattlers and Aggies opened Northwest League play with a tie.
Armondo Hernandez and Benjamin Soto had goals for Mojave.
C.J. Flood and Mike Cable scored for Arbor View.
Silverado 6, Basic 0 — At Silverado, the Skyhawks scored five goals in the second half to defeat the Wolves.
Devin Diego and Gary Diego each had two goals and two assists for Silverado.
Chase Leaders and David Vasquez each added a goal, and goalkeeper Justin Close stopped both shot attempts in notching the shutout.
Centennial 5, Cheyenne 1 — At Centennial, Kevin Rogge had three goals and an assist to lead the Bulldogs over the Desert Shields.
Oscar Moran and Matt Kurtz each added a goal for Centennial.
Eric Guzman scored for Cheyenne.
Green Valley 5, Foothill 3 — At Green Valley, Andrew Buendia had two goals and an assist to lead the Gators past the Falcons.
Tim Shue added a goal and an assist and Rodrigo Medina and Rudy Strnad each scored a goal for Green Valley.
Efrain Meza scored two goals and Drew Suits one for Foothill.
Virgin Valley 8, Lake Mead 2 — At Virgin Valley, James Pollock, Alex Thurston and Carlos Rosales each scored two goals as
the Bulldogs defeated the Eagles.
Joel Medina added a goal and an assist and Luis Rodriguez scored a goal for Virgin Valley, which is off to its best start ever at 3-0.
Faith Lutheran 15, Moapa Valley 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Ryan Sniezyk had five goals and three assists as the Crusaders routed the Pirates.
Marc Davies added three goals and Chris Ortwein, Tyler Koerwitz and Wade Norman each scored twice for Faith Lutheran. Terry Unruh also scored for the Crusaders.
Davies and Murad Ahmed combined on the shutout.
