Roundup: Coronado takes early lead, rolls to Spring Creek crown

Coronado’s boys soccer team scored three first-half goals and rolled to a 6-1 victory over Shadow Ridge in the championship game of the Spring Creek tournament on Saturday in Elko.

Miguel Trujillo scored for Shadow Ridge.

Shadow Ridge 4, Elko 0 — At Elko, Kyle Casis had a goal and an assist to lead the Mustangs over the Indians in the Spring Creek tournament.

Koy Garvin, Peter Jankowski and Nikolay Engels each added a goal, and Miguel Trujillo had two assists for Shadow Ridge.

Jake Anderson and Ian Dalton combined on the shutout.
