ROUNDUP: Durango rolls past Pahrump Valley in boys soccer

Ryan Benvente scored three goals Wednesday to lead Durango to a 6-2 win over visiting Pahrump Valley in a boys soccer match.
Arjenis Bautista, Francisco Bautista and Julio Pelayo also scored for the Trailblazers, who led 3-0 at halftime.
Martin Apolinao had a goal and an assist for Pahrump Valley. James Gang added a goal for the Trojans.
Sierra Vista 5, Desert Oasis 2 — At Desert Oasis, Julian LeTohic and Ruben Ovakimian each scored twice to lead the Mountain Lions over the Diamondbacks.
Peter Omosa added a goal and Christian Djorvjevic had three assists for Sierra Vista.
Andrew Pardo and Strahinja Pavlovic each scored a goal for Desert Oasis.
Western 3, Bonanza 2 — At Western, the Warriors broke a 2-2 tie with four minutes remaining and held on to beat Bonanza.
Alex Ariano and Frazier Breman scored for the Bengals.
Eldorado 4, Canyon Springs 0 — At Eldorado, Josh Cormier had two goals and an assist as the Sundevils opened Northeast League play by blanking Canyon Springs.
Omar Diaz and Aldo Flores each added a goal and an assist for Eldorado.
Alberto Alvarez made 11 saves to earn the shutout.
Las Vegas 4, Chaparral 1— At Las Vegas, Joaquin Rivas tallied two goals and an assist to help the Wildcats down the Cowboys.
Jaime Toscano and Ruben Amezcua each scored a goal for Las Vegas, and Justin Johnson added an assist.
Gibran Handerman scored the lone goal for the Cowboys.
Bishop Gorman 2, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Jake O’Rourke made seven saves to earn a shutout as Bishop Gorman beat the Grizzlies.
Nick Eary and Cody Barnett scored for the Gaels.
Valley 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Desert Pines, Ivan Chamorra scored all three goals in the first half and Pedro Arias got the shutout as the Vikings defeated the Jaguars.
