ROUNDUP: Kelley’s goal gives Gorman boys win over Longhorns

Kyle Kelley scored on an assist from Shawn Slattery with 10 minutes left in the first half Monday to help Bishop Gorman’s boys soccer team to a 1-0 win at Legacy.

Thomas Olsen registered the shutout for the Gaels.

Clark 4, Cheyenne 1 — At Clark, Edgar Favela had a goal and two assists to lead the Chargers over the Desert Shields.

Oniver Chavez, Jose Munoz and Alexis Lopez each scored a goal for Clark.

Benavidez Guererros had Cheyenne’s goal.

Cimarron-Memorial 2, Bonanza 0 — At Bonanza, Oso Valencia scored a goal in each half to lift the Spartans by the Bengals.

Salvador Garcia made four saves to earn the shutout for Cimarron.

Centennial 4, Desert Oasis 0 — At Centennial, Eric Sanchez, Miguel Nieto, Andrew Porrello and Cobi Hunt each had a goal to help the Bulldogs top the Diamondbacks.

Williams Dominguez had two assists for Centennial, and teammate Aiden Parker was credited with the shutout.

Sunrise Mountain 6, Virgin Valley 0 — At Mesquite, Luis Chappo had three goals to power the Miners past the Bulldogs.

Anthony Lucero added a goal and an assist, and Jose Paz and Juan Lopez each scored for Sunrise Mountain, which got two assists from Edwin Solorzan.

Herbie Lopez and Robert Malone combined on the shutout, with Lopez stopping a penalty kick in the first half.

Tech 6, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Julio Vargas scored three goals to lead the  Roadrunners over the Cowboys.

Salvador Garcia had a goal and an assist, and Derian Salcido and Rafael Valdez also scored for Tech, which got three assists from Rafael Munoz.

Christian Mojarro stopped three shots to earn the shutout for the Roadrunners.

Mojave 2, Western 2 — At Western, the Rattlers and Warriors played to a tie.

Christopher Pulido and Lynno Muro each scored in the second half for Mojave.

Western’s Edgar Lujano had a goal and an assist, and Luis Ponce scored the other goal for the Warriors.

Desert Pines 7, Moapa Valley 2 — At Overton, Genaro Corona and Oscar Perez each scored twice to lead the Jaguars over the Pirates.

Hector Hernandez, Luis Rivera and Alexis Rojo each scored a goal for Desert Pines.

Magnus Mortvedt had a goal and an assist, and Frederik Luasten scored a goal for Moapa Valley.

Pahrump Valley 4, The Meadows 1 — At Pahrump, Nick Nelson had two goals and an assist to lead the Trojans over the Mustangs.

Hiram Castro and Samuel Gomez each scored for Pahrump.

Austin Lee scored for The Meadows.
