ROUNDUP: Labanino helps Aggies shock Spartans

Jose Labanino scored two second-half goals Wednesday as Arbor View’s boys soccer team surprised host Cimarron-Memorial, 2-1.

The Aggies improved to 2-6-3 in Northwest League play.

Jordan Moreno scored for the Spartans, who dipped to 5-3-3 in the league.

Legacy 1, Mojave 0 — At Legacy, David Sanchez scored a first-half goal on an assist from Jorge Gonzalez, and the Longhorns held on to down the Rattlers.

Ramon Carvajal recorded the shutout for Legacy.

Shadow Ridge 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Blake Damato scored three goals to send the Mustangs past the Desert Shields.

Aric Kraft tallied two assists, and goalkeeper Jose Reyes earned the shutout for Shadow Ridge.

Centennial 8, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Centennial, Erik Christiansen had two goals and an assist, and Abraham Zacarias added a goal and two assists as the Bulldogs routed the Crusaders.

Sean Jenne, Blake Frischknecht, Miguel Nieto and Cobi Hunt also scored for Centennial, which benefited from an own goal. Chance Rosa added two assists for the Bulldogs.

Aidan Parker was in goal for the shutout.

Durango 2, Pahrump Valley 2 — At Durango, Paris Estrada and Wasajja Wals each scored in the first four minutes of the match for the Trailblazers, but the Trojans rallied to earn a tie.

Spencer Mestas and TeAndre Small scored for Pahrump.

Sierra Vista 6, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, Miles McRae and Truitt Evans each had two goals and an assist to power the Mountain Lions past the Diamondbacks.

Milan Popovic had four assists for Sierra Vista, which also got goals from Jorge Echavarria and Dominic Cardenas.

Jorge Garcia posted a five-save shutout.

Bishop Gorman 4, Spring Valley 0 — At Gorman, the Gaels exploded with four second-half goals to down the Grizzlies.

Nick Wesen, Blake Balelo, Austin Moore and Mike Tonetti each notched a goal for Gorman.

Max Prado and Thomas Olsen shared the shutout for the Gaels.

Western 3, Bonanza 1 — At Western, Jesus Patricio, Fernando Caro and Oscar Dominguez each had a goal as the Warriors topped the Bengals.

Armando Herrera notched two assists for Western.

Omar Cortez tallied Bonanza’s goal.

Clark 4, Moapa Valley 1 — At Clark, Juan Regalado scored three goals, and Jorge Betancourt had a goal and an assist as the Chargers blitzed the Pirates.

Daniel Arauna supplied two assists for Clark.

Tom Hoffman scored a goal for Moapa Valley.

The undefeated Coronado boys soccer team made sure it was ready for Saturday’s Class 5A Southern League final after losing to Palo Verde last season.
