ROUNDUP: Macavei scores pair as Basic blanks Liberty

Andreas Macavei scored two goals to lead visiting Basic to a 4-0 boys soccer victory over Liberty on Monday.

Irving Cabrera and Lex Freeman added goals for the Wolves, and goalkeeper Brandon Gonzalez provided the shutout.

Silverado 2, Del Sol 1 — At Del Sol, Kyle Perea and Gary Diego scored in the first half to lead Silverado past the Dragons.

Jesse Romero scored for Del Sol.

Tech 2, Foothill 0 — At Tech, Jose Guiza scored once in each half as the Roadrunners beat the Falcons to improve to 7-0-2 in the Southeast League.

Edgar Velazguez and Abdel Rodriguez combined on the shutout for Tech.

Green Valley 1, Coronado 0 — At Green Valley, Rodrigo Medina tucked a shot just inside the post with three minutes to play, lifting Green Valley over Coronado.

Green Valley goalkeeper Andrew Hendrickson made 14 saves in the shutout.

Centennial 2, Legacy 1 — At Centennial, Kevin Rogge scored twice in the second half to rally the Bulldogs past Legacy.

Julio Uribe scored in the first half for the Longhorns.

Cimarron-Memorial 5, Mojave 1 — At Mojave, Scottie Beckwith and Corey Ackley each had two goals and an assist as Cimarron bolted to a 4-0 halftime lead and beat the Rattlers.

Edgar Nava added a goal and an assist for the Spartans.

Palo Verde 4, Cheyenne 0 — At Palo Verde, Shane Panther scored a goal and had two assists as Palo Verde blanked Cheyenne.

Irvin Gijon, Matthew Polster and Frankie Rivero also scored, and Colton McCann made six saves to earn the shutout.

Arbor View 3, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Shadow Ridge, C.J. Flood, Niko Johnson and Johnny Mayorga scored to lead Arbor View past the Mustangs.

Christian Houstrom recorded the shutout in goal.

Virgin Valley 4, Adelson 1 — At Adelson, Carlos Rosales and James Pollock each had a goal and an assist, leading the Bulldogs over the Lions.

Joel Medina and Carlos Cano also scored for Virgin Valley.
