Jonathan Martinez scored a pair of first-half goals Monday to lead Canyon Springs’ boys soccer team to a 3-2 victory at Green Valley.
Daniel Abundiz also scored for the Pioneers, who led 3-0 at halftime. Mario Corral had two assists for Canyon Springs.
Bryan Baugh scored twice for the Gators.
Coronado 1, Del Sol 1 — At Del Sol, Juan Sequeria scored on an assist from Luis Mendez in the final minute to give the host Dragons the tie with the Cougars.
Jason Randolph scored for Coronado.
Sierra Vista 1, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Truitt Evans scored midway through the second half to give the Mountain Lions a win over the Mustangs.
Francisco Cruz earned the shutout.
Liberty 4, Foothill 0 — At Liberty, Danny Musovski scored all four goals as the Patriots blanked the Falcons.
Chris Bradford made six saves to earn the shutout.
Rancho 4, Valley 1 — At Valley, Aaron Ortiz scored two goals to lift the Rams by the Vikings.
Miguel Dias-Ortiz and Hector Martinez each had a goal for Rancho.
Dawit Tesfa scored for Valley.
Las Vegas 3, Silverado 0 — At Silverado, Abraham Paz and Daniel Nunez-Renteria each had a goal and an assist to help the Wildcats top the Skyhawks.
Adrian Pinal added a goal, and freshman goalkeeper Miguel Naverrete got the shutout in his first varsity start.
Palo Verde 4, Spring Valley 0 — At Palo Verde, Ryan Kleiner scored twice to lift the Panthers over the Grizzlies.
Austin Pollster and Kyler Obata each added a goal, and Nishant Yadav made one save to get the shutout.
Durango 2, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Cristoval Magana and Wasajja Walugembe each had a goal as the Trailblazers blanked the Aggies.
Eldorado 8, Basic 0 — At Eldorado, Chris Perez had two goals and an assist, and Andres Lua scored once and added two assists as the Sundevils blanked the Wolves.
Edgar Duran had a goal and an assist, and Francisco Santiago, David Magana, Jose Esquer and Victor Damian each scored a goal for Eldorado.
Samuel Tapia made six saves to earn the shutout.
