ROUNDUP: Norman’s two goals help Crusaders beat Boulder City
Wade Norman scored two goals Thursday to lead Faith Lutheran’s boys soccer team to a 3-0 win at Boulder City.
Sam Stevens added a goal for the Crusaders.
Marc Davies made five saves to earn the shutout.
Virgin Valley 9, Adelson School 2 — At Virgin Valley, Joel Medina scored three goals and had two assists to lead the Bulldogs in a rout of the Lions.
Will Lara had three goals and one assist for Virgin Valley. Adam Berntsson, Carlos Cano and Miguel Martinez also scored for the Bulldogs.
Medi Bertehi and Gil Reggato each had a goal for Adelson.
The Meadows 6, Moapa Valley 1 — At The Meadows, Toby Warburton scored four goals and had two assists to lead the Mustangs past the Pirates.
Corin Galati added a goal and an assist for The Meadows.
Emil Fleron scored a goal for Moapa Valley.
GIRLS
Pahrump Valley 2, Virgin Valley 0 — At Pahrump, Sara Moser and Miranda Monje both scored in the second half as the Trojans downed Virgin Valley.
Haley Williams made three saves to earn the shutout.
Moapa Valley 5, Adelson School 3 — At Adelson School, Ashley Nevey scored all five goals in the Pirates’ win over the Lions.
Brandi Thompson and Shilo Parashonts each had two assists for Moapa Valley.
