Luis Ramirez scored on his own corner kick 10 minutes into the match Wednesday, providing the margin of victory as Cimarron-Memorial’s boys soccer team edged visiting Centennial, 2-1.
Gerardo Zacarias gave the Spartans the lead three minutes into the match.
Chance Rosa scored a second-half goal for the Bulldogs.
Mojave 5, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Mojave, Benjamin Soto scored four goals as the Rattlers downed the Crusaders.
Daniel Garcia also netted a goal for the Rattlers, and Jesus Montes added two assists.
D’Khari Hicks scored for Faith Lutheran.
Palo Verde 2, Shadow Ridge 1 — At Shadow Ridge, Anthony Kouglas and Matej Kustura scored a goal apiece to help the Panthers hold off the Mustangs.
Juan Gutierrez scored Shadow Ridge’s goal.
Arbor View 1, Cheyenne 1 — At Cheyenne, Daniel Diaz scored a second-half goal to give the host Desert Shields a tie with the Aggies.
Andres Perez scored for Arbor View.
Desert Oasis 2, Durango 1 — At Durango, Jarom Stuart notched a goal and an assist to lift the Diamondbacks past the Trailblazers.
Sigifredo Ruiz added a goal for Desert Oasis.
Jeremy Allen converted a penalty kick for Durango’s lone tally.
Spring Valley 2, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Ricky Gonzalez had a goal and an assist as the Grizzlies blanked the Mountain Lions.
Joseph Padfield also scored for Spring Valley.
Eddie Gomez made five saves to earn the shutout for the Grizzlies.
Bishop Gorman 8, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Pahrump, Shane Thompson scored three goals, and Nicholas Wessen added two goals as the Gaels blitzed the Trojans.
Jason Eng, Michael Gray and Michael Tonnetti also scored for Gorman.
Thomas Olsen was in goal for the shutout.
Bonanza 3, Clark 0 — At Clark, Kevin Fuentes struck twice, and Sergio Rodriguez notched a goal and an assist as the Bengals blanked the Chargers.
William Sagel picked up the shutout in goal for Bonanza.
The Meadows 7, Moapa Valley 1 — At The Meadows, Toby Warburton tallied three goals and an assist as the Mustangs routed the Pirates.
Austin Lee and Alex Karabachev each added a goal and two assists, for The Meadows, which also got goals from A.J. DeJong and Corin Galati.
Cody Gollahon scored for Moapa Valley.
Boulder City 4, Virgin Valley 0 — At Boulder City, Peter Standjordek, Massimo Barbieri and Jack Lobkowisz each notched a goal as the Eagles blanked the Bulldogs.
Trevor Montgomery had two assists for Boulder City, which also benefitted from an own goal by Virgin Valley.
Richard Pappas and John Osborne combined on the shutout.
