Roundup: Ricardo Felipe’s goal gives Tech win over Yeti

Ricardo Felipe scored in the second half to give Tech’s boys soccer team a 1-0 win over visiting Equipo Academy in the Southern Nevada Kick-off Classic.

Alan Lopez assisted on the goal, and Yobani Garcia-Benitez recorded the shutout.

Durango 3, Western 3 — At Western, Juan Estrada scored twice as the Warriors earned a draw with the Trailblazers.

Gustavo Sanchez scored Western’s other goal.

Marcos Delgado, Christopher Bramasco and David Villa-Tovar scored for Durango.

Desert Pines 3, Centennial 1 — At Centennial, Joel Sanchez and Hector Zamilpa-Romero each recorded a goal and an assist as the Jaguars beat the Bulldogs.

Jaime Lugan-Ochoa added a goal for Desert Pines.

Jordan Kennedy scored Centennial’s goal.

Clark 3, Silverado 1 — At Clark, Abraham Dolley scored two goals to lead the Chargers past the Skyhawks in the Southern Nevada Kick-off Classic.

Luis Martinez scored a goal, and Juan Beltran had three assists for the Chargers.

Foothill 0, Spring Creek 0 — At Green Valley, William Potter made two saves for the Falcons in a scoreless draw against the Spartans in the Southern Nevada Kick-off Classic.

Sunrise Mountain 2, Sierra Vista 0 — At Green Valley, Luis Luna and Brandon Polento scored second-half goals to lead the Miners over the Mountain Lions in the Southern Nevada Kick-off Classic.

Enrique Perez made one save for Sunrise Mountain in the shutout.

Estiben Olandez had an assist for the Miners.

Arbor View 2, Liberty 1 — At Western, Ricardo Mogollon and Ryan Schmultzman each scored a goal to lead the Aggies to a victory over the Patriots in the Southern Nevada Kick-off Classic.

Jason Angel Gilliland scored for the Patriots.

Green Valley 4, Basic 0 — At Green Valley, Elyjah DeLeon had three goals as the Gators blanked the Wolves in the Southern Nevada Kick-off Classic.

Kai Zurflueh added a goal and an assist, and Ryan Marcelino had two assists for Green Valley.

John Scott made two saves to record the shutout.

Cimarron-Memorial 8, Somerset-Losee 0 — At Cimarron, George Balcazar had a three goals, and Diego Juarez and Jacob Franco each scored twice to lead the Spartans in a rout of the Lions in the Southern Nevada Kick-off Classic.

Jimi Villasenor had a goal and two assists for the Spartans, and Eminem Perez had two assists.

Dylan Crosby-Moghadam made three saves in the shutout.

Legacy 5, Chaparral 0 — At Tech, Jesus Cruz had three goals in the Longhorns’ win over the Cowboys in the Southern Nevada Kick-off Classic.

Maximus Orozco had a goal and three assists for Legacy, and Ignacio Rangel scored once.

Lejandro Alvarez made four saves to record Legacy’s shutout.

Bonanza 7, Show Low (Ariz.) 0 — At Green Valley, Jonas Bryant scored four goals as the Bengals blanked the Cougars in the Southern Nevada Kick-off Classic.

Martin Rodriguez-Gutierrez, Luis Antonio, and Emiliano Alfaro each added a goal for Bonanza.

Goalkeepers Alejandro Tabardillo and Ivo Ramirez combined on the shutout.

Palo Verde 9, Pahrump Valley 1 — At Palo Verde, Michael Vogel had two goals and two assists to lead the Panthers past the Trojans.

Bryan Montoya added two goals and an assist, and Tyler Olenak and Cole Wener each scored a goal for the Panthers, who led 5-0 at the half.

The Panthers also benefited from an own goal.

Luis Flores had two assists for the Panthers.

Jose Chavez scored Pahrump’s goal.

Spring Valley 1, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Cesar Estrada scored on a free kick assist from Cysco Martinez in the 70th minute, as the Grizzlies blanked the Mustangs.

Alejandro Lopez and Israel Uscanaga combined on the shutout for Spring Valley.

Cheyenne 3, Moapa Valley 1 — At Overton, Saul Chavez-Ramirez had two goals in the Desert Shields’ win over the Pirates.

Otoniel Hernandez scored for Cheyenne.

Bryan Robles had Moapa Valley’s goal with an assist from Zach Bailey.

Canyon Springs 10, SLAM Academy 0 — At Canyon Springs, Jose Gonzalez had three goals and two assists as the Pioneers routed the Bulls.

Leo Cruz scored three goals for the Pioneers, who led 5-0 at the half.

Juan Santillan had two goals and three assists, and Josue Figueroa and Juan Portillo each scored once for Canyon Springs.

Jose Macias and Alejandro Gonzalez each played one half in goal for Canyon Springs, with each recording a save.
