ROUNDUP: Ruiz’s penalty kick gives Valley tie with Rancho

Vidal Ruiz’s penalty-kick goal with three minutes remaining Monday allowed Valley’s boys to earn a 2-2 tie with visiting Rancho.
Rancho built a 2-0 lead on first-half goals by Rudolph D’Silva and Max Vargas-Castillo.
The Vikings came out in the second half with a goal by Ivan Chamorro before Ruiz tied the match.
Faith Lutheran 6, Boulder City 0 — At Community Park, Wade Norman scored three goals to help the Crusaders roll.
Ryan Sniezyk, Chris Ortwein and Emeron Ahmed also scored for Faith Lutheran. Sniezyk added two assists.
Marc Davies made three saves to earn the shutout.
The Meadows 8, Moapa Valley 1 — At The Meadows, Alex Karabachev scored three goals to lead the Mustangs past the Pirates.
Toby Warburton, Ashley Lovell, Michael Whiteside, Ofir Barashy and Tony Castle each added a goal for The Meadows. Warburton had two assists.
Augusto Machado scored for Moapa Valley.
