ROUNDUP: Sagel helps Bonanza boys maintain perfect record

Robert Sagel had a goal and an assist Friday as Bonanza’s boys soccer team improved to 7-0 overall and 5-0 in the Southwest League with a 3-0 win over visiting Desert Oasis.
Matthew Thomas and Trey Oldenburg also scored for the Bengals.
William Sagel made three saves to register the Bengals’ fifth shutout of the season. Bonanza has outscored its opponents, 25-2.
Bishop Gorman 3, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Michael Gray, Shane Thompson and Michael Ponetti each scored a second-half goal as the Gaels remained undefeated by downing the Mountain Lions.
Thomas Olsen made three saves to earn the shutout for Gorman (5-0-1). The Gaels have outscored their opponents, 30-2.
Clark 1, Durango 0 — At Clark, Juan Nunez’s second-half goal off a pass from Rey Saavedra, lifted the Chargers past the Trailblazers.
Kevin Avila earned the shutout for Clark.
Western 10, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Western, Joshua Ballard had three goals and three assists as the Warriors blitzed the Trojans.
Jeffrey Diaz added two goals, and Nelson Ponce, Elmer Mejia, Jair Perez, Robert Lewis and Jonathan Sanchez added a goal apiece for Western.
Perez and Luis Agustin each had two assists.
Jose Bautista was in goal for the shutout.
Legacy 3, Cimarron-Memorial 1 — At Legacy, Miguel Herrera scored two goals and added one assist, and teammate Saul Aguirre contributed a goal as the Longhorns improved to 5-0 by downing the Spartans.
Kevin Romero scored Cimarron’s goal.
Arbor View 10, Shadow Ridge 2 — At Arbor View, Nico Johnson scored three goals, and Hunter Hill added two goals and two assists as the Aggies routed the Mustangs.
Andre Winchell scored twice, and Andreas Perez, Michael Snook and Eric Shallenberger added a goal apiece for Arbor View. Snook and Kyle Winthorp each had two assists.
Roberto Garcia netted both of the Mustangs’ goals.
Centennial 7, Mojave 2 — At Centennial, Chance Rosa tallied four goals and an assist to power the Bulldogs past the Rattlers.
Blake Frischknecht, Eric Christiansen and Parker Smith also scored for the Bulldogs, who got two assists each from Tony Sanchez and Frischknecht.
Benjamin Soto scored both goals for the Rattlers.
Palo Verde 1, Cheyenne 1 — At Palo Verde, Justin Mikesell’s goal midway through the second half allowed the Desert Shields to tie the Panthers.
Alexander Shackley’s first-half goal gave Palo Verde a 1-0 lead.
The Meadows 5, Virgin Valley 1 — At The Meadows, Toby Warburton had a hand in all five goals, scoring three and assisting on the other two, as the Mustangs downed the Bulldogs.
Alex Karabachev scored two goals, and Corin Galati added two assists for The Meadows.
William Lara scored for the Bulldogs.
Boulder City 6, Moapa Valley 1 — At Overton, Trevor Montgomery and Peter Standjordek each had two goals and an assist as the Eagles topped the Pirates.
Brian Warshefski and Trevor Richie also scored for Boulder City.
Borha Mateos converted a penalty kick for the Pirates’ goal.
